12 Tags of 2016- January Technique Remix

Dear Readers, I am so happy to be participating in another year of tag creations!! Last years participating in the 12 tags of 2015 taught me so much and I hope for another fabulous year with 12 Tags of 2016- Technique Remix. To find the tutorial to January's tag, click here : Here is Tim's awesome tag: Now I commonly do not have any of the supplies and tools that Tim has, but I do have many wonderful thing in my stash. So I found my kitchen aluminium foil, grabbed an embossing folder, my black ink, some white ink and black card stock and went to work. And here is my creation: I am so in love with the white on black look!! And embossing aluminum foil is pretty awesome!! Please do give it a try!! I hope you have found inspiration here. Happy Australia Day 2016

Dear Crafty Readers, Happy Australia Day everyone!!! I wanted to stop by and share some cards I made with the theme "Australia" in mind. Fabric Faux-Dori's

Book Making in Midori-style Binding

Mermaid in my Pocket (Letter)

Dear All, Im back to show you one more project I made with Kaisercraft's new Sail Away Collection. A Pocket Letter using Julie Nutting's Sallie Mermaid Stamp. If you are not familiar with Pocket Letter's they were created by Janette Lane in 2015. You can check her out  here  and learn all about them. I have joined the PL phenomenon and have joined a few groups on Facebook and swapped with some amazing pocket letter pals! It's been an absolute joy! So the pride and joy of this PL is Sallie Mermaid herself. I coloured her in using Kaiser Fusion Markers and I decided to use sequinned ribbon as her scales and her bikini top.  It is so fantastic- I love how it turned out!!! Notice the shaker pocket in bottom left pocket # 7. I used my Fuse tool to create that :) Here is a close up: The sequins thread runs through her body like it is part of her fishy form.  Just perfect!
