Hello Crafty Friends, When I unboxed the February Kit, I was very excited to see this  Donna Downey stencil ! As it was a very large stencil (8.5" x 8.5"), it needed a very large book! Enter my Dina Wakley A4 Mixed Media Journal! Previously, untouched! But no more- today I was going to play. I was excited to use a new product, this  Hero Arts Metallic Mist Spray . Together, they created the quickest, most beautiful background!! Since the sentiment was all about 'loving others' and since we were going 'BIG', I reached for this  Prima Princess - Coco-  that I've had in my stash for SO LONG. and decided to have fun experimenting with stamping and water colouring on cotton water color paper and linen. Hello Crafty Friends, I still have a second paper of the Sweetheart Floral 12" x 12" from Carta Bella. I had it sitting next to my planner the other day  And I thought to myself, wouldn't it be awesome if they had a planner with this paper? And then the idea struck!! Why not re-create this exact planner cover using this paper!! I started off by measuring my planner and cut my paper to the following size: - 11.25" W x 8.5" H - Score @5.25" and 6" along the width. Next, the pockets. For this I used black card stock from American Crafts. Cut one large pocket @ 5"W x 6.25"H - Score @ 0.5" and 4.5" along the width - Score @ 5.75" along the height Cut one small pocket @5" W x 4.25"H - Score @ 0.5" and 4.5" along the width - Score @ 3.75" along the height Attach the smaller pockets to the large left hand side pocket and then attach the left poc

Hello Crafty Friends, Today's creative team design project is inspired by 3 products in Aunty Vera's February Kit Love & Art. The first is this gorgeous  floral lace  by Prima. The second is this lovely  ephemera pack  by Crate Paper. The last is this delightful  charm pack  by Pink Paisley. So naturally, I created a journal that incorporates all these amazing products. But not just any journal! This is a black and white themed journal. How you ask?  With all these colourful elements? Well the journal is made from white card stock, white copier paper and book pages. I didn't take any pics at this stage so you will have to head over to the video to see how I made it. The photos where printed out in black & white.
